John Vergopoulos, Chairman
John Vergopoulos brings decisive, hands-on leadership, as well as an international financial ‘black book’. He has extensive executive experience as an SME Board Director, CEO and CFO for publicly traded corporations in the tech and mineral resources sector.
- Impressive fundraising track record in capital, private equity and syndicated loan markets
- Highly experienced in dealing with government institutions throughout Europe, Africa and Asia
- Started out as a chartered accountant in Deloitte’s London Audit Department

Olav Skalmeraas, Chief Executive Officer
Olav has more than 30 years of international management experience from the oil, gas and mineral processing industry. With deep ESG knowledge, he has held several high-profile roles.
- Senior vice president in Equinor for utilisation and storage of carbon capture, in connection with the start of the Northern Lights-CCS project
- Senior vice president for Norsk Hydro’s aluminium business in South America and senior vice president for marketing and transport of gas within the company

Mark Inman, Chief Financial Officer
A graduate of the University of Surrey, Mark worked in London for 6 years before relocating to Norway in 2000. Mark has 30 years of operational finance experience, mostly from within the European mining and construction industry, as well as extensive experience from Corporate Head office and regional / country finance roles.
- Experienced Senior Finance Manager, skilled in Business Planning, Managerial Finance, Business Process Improvement, Forecasting, Analysis and Change Management.

Jørgen Stenvold, Project Director
Jørgen brings 25 years of experience in resource development to Norge Mineraler. Jørgen, who is a mining and exploration geologist, has overall professional responsibility for the company’s mining and development.
